New Mexico State Park Series
Someday I will visit ALL the state parks in New Mexico … When I was young, my family spent a lot of time camping in a travel trailer. It wasn’t the fancy kind we have now. It had no slide-outs, no microwave, no TV. It didn’t have an air conditioner or a heater – but man I loved that thing!
Spring Break 2021 – Part 6: Lake Havasu, AZ
Havasu Landing Resort and Casino was a lovely little location, although I’m not sure I’d call it a resort. If you expect “VEGAS, BABY” – you will be disappointed. The RV park had large RV sites, full hook-ups, they were not paved but were nice and even, well-marked, all of our favorite things in a campground.

We LOVE Camp Davis. It sits on the Arizona side of the Colorado River in Bullhead. Directly across the river is Laughlin, Nevada. You can see the casino lights reflect on the river after dark.
